Indeed, Ma'donna has gleefully stepped into the role of the classic Forest Guardian -- not because it's needed, but because it's fun! The fleet-footed stallion delights in appearing suddenly ahead of visitors to stare ominously down at them before vanishing just as quickly as he came, and will usually repeat this process at least three or four times for each group he sees passing through. To all appearances the path that winds through his forest is perfectly natural, when in fact it was plotted quite carefully so that he could make use of all suitable hills and overlooks in the terrain. Even the birds and other forest inhabitants like to join the game, fluctuating their volume and motion when their friend appears to add to the effect. Though Ma'donna's strength and presence is not entirely an act, when he is not playing his part as the magical, mythical white unicorn he is a cheerfully social creature who loves company and honeysuckle blossoms.
